Billy “The Great” Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal), the reigning light heavyweight boxing champion, is a fighter from the streets. This movie is a tear jerker. It’s tough is sad it’s amazing!!! What a great story! This is a must see boxing film. It is absolutely one of the greatest boxing films of all time!

Billy Hope – is champ, loses everything you can lose, and builds himself back up. Great Great movie.

Forest Whitaker does a great job as Billy Hopes Trainer.

Rachel McAdams does a great job as the wife of Billy Hope.

Billy hope’s role played by Jake Gyllenhaal shows the true heart and grit of boxing. What it means to come from absolutely nothing and make something of your self. It’s a great movie of inspiration and hope! It’s a true boxing story.

Jake Gyllenhaal who is an amazing actor – I hope is nominated for an academy award for his role as Billy Hope.

So far this year, I have not seen a movie with acting of this caliber. So far this year if the academy awards were today I would say Best Actor should go to Jake Gyllenhaal.

This is a great movie! Go watch it!! You won’t be disappointed ! Great film!
