Today I got my copy of Ring Magazine. It is my favorite boxing publication. I appreciate the articles, thought, and work put into The Ring.

This months issue focuses on up and coming fighters, who will take the torch after Floyd and Manny are gone. No spoilers here today. If you want to learn more you’ll have to pick up the issue.

One bummer is what happened to ring card girl of the month? Why did they take that out? Was it another move towards political correctness? It’s dissappointing to me, it was gone a few months, then back again, now gone. The card girls are a part of boxing, it’s not something to go crazy over, but why take it out? And if so why no explanation? So bring the card girl back or give an explanation….
