Deontay Wilder Bermane Stiverne – Showtime – all access

Last night the All Access on Showtime featured Wilder and Stiverne. It starts out showing Wilders home. It is nice home, Wilder showing a little flash with a custom paint job on his car and nice gold watch, with a few diamonds.

Stiverne, is annoyingly humble and talks like he has been champion forever. He keeps talking like he is the Heavy Weight Champion, I am sorry he fell into his belt after a second defeat of Chris Arreola. – Which is not much of a fight in my mind. Arreola stumbles around the ring, and is not much competition for anyone. – A few minutes later you see Stiverne at the WBC gathering shaking hands with Tyson, who gives him a look like who is this chump, he then mingles with other WBC title holders and past title holders. The thing that is hard to swallow is that there is only ONE heavy weight Champion in my mind and  that is Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko is the heavy weight champ. Stiverne did not work his way up and take this title from anyone. So Bermane Stiverne – you may have the belt but you are not Heavy Weight Champion of the world.

Wilder started boxing when he was 19 – yes 19. He started fighting for his daughter, she has Spina Bifida. Its a touching story, Wilder sheds a few tears, then we seem his dancing around and doing some training. He power is huge and his athletic ability is stunning.

I am pulling for Wilder, I want to see the US regain the WBC belt. Then I’d like to see a unification fight between Wilder and Klitschko. I believe that Wilder will be the next Heavy Weight Champion. But he must stay focused. I appreciated the prayer at the end of training by Wilders team.

Next week is the fight in Las Vegas NV. and will be televised live on Showtime Boxing. Tune in January 17th 2015 – I am again, predicting a 3rd round knockout!

I am surprised that a website calling itself the “glass jaw reporter” would pick Deontay Wilder in any fight against live opposition. Wilder is the epitome of a fighter who clearly has a glass jaw, and therefore is fed soft opposition to disguise this, and to build up a fraudulent record as a “power puncher.” It’s easy to knock out fat truck drivers and bar patrons, and other part-time “professional” boxers. And yet, even some of these guys have had Wilder on the canvas. I would have hoped that individuals purporting to be glass jaw analysts would have perceived Wilder’s clear chin weakness, and recognized that Stiverne – as the first decent hard-hitting fighter Wilder has faced – is very likely to knock him out early.

I think the glass jaw has it on the money. If you think that Stiverne is the next great thing you don’t know boxing. I think that Wilder will beat Stiverne. Wilder is like 32-0 all knock outs how can you question that power. Wilder is no Seth Mitchel. Check your self tomorrow after the fight zakman
