Some very exciting news has emerged from the boxing channels. Andre Ward has been released from his contract with Goossen Promotions. Ward has signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports. This is a huge move for Jay Z’s company. Ward will definitely be the face of Roc Nation Sports.

Ward has not fought in over a year. He has been in constant court battles with Goossen Promotions. With the recent passing of Dan Goossen, the promotional company has released Ward, and word from Goossen Promotions is they are not happy about the release.

What we can expect from Ward, we will see a warm up fight and hopefully soon. Then I would like to see him fight Chavez Jr., Cotto, Álvarez and Golovkin. There is some movement needed with weight but I believe these will be the most challenging and exciting fights in boxing. I believe that Andre Ward will defeat all four above mentioned boxers. I am excited to see Ward fight again, he is the True Pound for Pound Champion. 2015 is starting out very nice for the world of boxing!
