Fighters come to center. Ward jabbing. Not a lot of action. Ward the aggressor.
10-9 Ward.

Round 2
Ward comes out jabbing quick. Smith heavily over matched. Smith not doing much. Ward punching Smith hard. Smith looking like a heavy bag.

Round 3
Great left from Ward stumbles Smith. Combo from Ward. Smith doing nothing. 4 punch combo from Ward.

Ward taking it to Smith here. Ward combos Smith. Not to exciting as Smith doesn’t fight back.

Round 5
Ward comes out swinging. Smith doing noting. I’m ready for this fight to end. I really wish Ward would have fought some stiffer competition. A jab from Smith. Ward throwing a lot of punches off of Smiths gloves as he covers up. Slight head clash between fighters.

Round 6
Again, Ward going after it. Right hook from Ward very solid. Ward jabbing. Ward punching hard.

Round 7
Ward comes out hard, Smith drills Ward, Ward definitely felt that punch. Ward comes back strong. It would be nice to see Ward finish this. Uppercut from Ward. Smiths head is bright red, but by far his best round.

Round 8
Ward really brining it. Smith is cut over his left eye. The blood is flowing. Smith didn’t make weight and came in heavy losing 25% of his income from this fight. Ward fighting hard. Great uppercut from Ward. Terrific punch. Ward a tremendous fighter.

Smith jabs. Ward jabs. Ward Ting off on Smith. Blood all over Smiths face. Ward brings it hard, Smith on the ropes. Blood coming from the mouth, eye, and nose of Smith. He is getting hammered. And Smiths corner throws in the towel!
Ward is the winner. We are glad he is back.

A great appreciation for Smith who showed amazing guts and perseverance. He was clearly mis matched. Great fight, and guts Smith. Great fight.
